Wow, if you can figure out what this guy’s saying (and what it means) you’re a true bushman I am not an employee of Freelancer.com.au — I am a loyal and satisfied member of their community. Being married to an Australian woman, and having lived there myself, I know how proud Australians are of their traditions. Our video has fun with some thick aussie slang, and invites the audience to join the future of freelance work in Australia. For authenticity, we collaborated with Mr. Neville Gardner, a native Australian with 20 years of service in law enforcement, and Mr. Phil Kennedy, former morning announcer of 104.7 FM in Grafton, NSW, Australia. The video was produced with the assistance of Aces TV, Inc., an Emmy Award-winning production team based in Los Angeles, California. Freelancer.com.au has revolutionized the way workers and employers connect, and we will use viral and social marketing to promote this all throughout the country, for a strong, working Australia! Thank you for your consideration, Sincerely, –Daniel Alvarado

@verticalsmurf @Hotdogs221 – Or “Arkansas”, for that matter.
@Hotdogs221 Who pronounces Australia Aus-s? Why are we so touchy about how our country name is pronounced anyway? The posh British – Orstralyia, the American Asstralia, the country Australian – Stralya. Julia’s Aahstraylleyah. Who cares so long as we aren’t confused with Austria. That would piss off the tourists!
And to be honest, we aren’t that great with American place names. Ask 20 people to say ‘Yosemite’.
It’s sad that I know most of that slang
@DanielMAlvarado i love americans but lets just say there is a big amount of them who just are not smart. kinda aaaaawwwwwqweeeerrrddd as they would say it. I LIKE VEGIMITE! PEACE
I understand him
I would very much appreciate it if all you Guys would stop telling the yanks how we talk… Because the way you talk is different to nearly every other part of Australia… The only stereotype that I fit into is saying “mate” occasionally… everything else apart from my u’s is similar to the English.. So whichever comment I read about Australian accents being nothing like the English, is right for the area that they live in, but not for me… And I pronounce Australia as Australia… Not Aus-s
@UnknownBroadcaster22 *clink*
oh god so much of our slang in one video… are we trying to confuse everyone mate? XD
im australian and i dont know what that means….
Basic Australian, the English that people can understand is what we learn after that
im australian and i think hes making refference to raping dingos and sumtin bout the huskvarna being out of fuel?

funny, I’ve lived in Australia my whole life and have never heard some of those terms… hmm.
@UnknownBroadcaster22 lol i’m australian i only got half of that
Big smoke=city, back a bourke… a bloody long way away from everything…
Dingos clacker…. dingos ass….
Yeah i understand him… but none of us (Australians) use that kind of slang… except maybe Alf Steward? lol
I understand him perfectly. It pays to be Australian in these situations!
cheers!
