ok, but i dont understand how they can verify your identity? you go into an internet cafe and complete the application and who is gonna check? You are running off a different IP…they arent gonna shut down the entire IP address from that cafe are they? What about a Starbucks or Library WIFI signal? Maybe through some miracle they discover you are fake – is there answer to shut down that libraries IP? Nobody can sign on anymore? Its a fail before it got off the ground. Who am I, btw?

Also, privacy online will never happen. Many companies own the internet. You connect to the internet through an ISP that owns or leases the physical medium that you use to surf. The websites you go to are owned by a company or person that pays for the domain name and the upkeep of their servers. A company owns the distribution of electricity to your house to provide you with access to the internet. They all make money while they provide you with a service and they also make the rules.
To a large degree you do have control over your privacy online. You choose to put your info on Facebook. You choose to put your info on G+. These are companies. They aren’t your friends, they get to make the guidelines for what you can and can’t do on their service. If you choose to join you play their game. It isn’t any different than having a YouTube account.
I endorse the message stay away from Google even though I am doing deals with them. I like the fact of take from the Crooked, but I like better, share with the good. So unfortunate the reality in life is usually not that way.

The stinking shit who run google are making it very difficult for me to get through to them so I can ask what it the matter with their Youtube system at the moment. Anyone any ideas? I have tried opening a gmail account and was hopeless.

@SuperShocker72 Yep they are changing to timeline now and once you change to timeline you can’t change back to old facebook, it gives us no option ! but forces us with that timeline ! also they won’t allow any feed back !! I am sick of facebook !

@KungFuChess Agreed. I’ve REFUSED to sign up for Facebook since day 1. When I meet people and we go to exchange contact information I’m often asked for my “facebook” and people are shocked when they find out I don’t have one and they insist that I get one. Usually I don’t stay in touch with people who are “facebook addicts” , it’s almost like a cult to me and seems creepy.
Whatever happened to exchanging e-mail or phone #’s?
