In regards to the post that I wrote on the 3rd of October titled “Stumble My Blog”
Well heads up! StumbleUpon didn’t take to kindly to my article and suspended me pending a review. So I guess i have to eat a little bit of humble pie and bow to common sense but also to apologise to any of my readers for any confusion. I know at the end of the day it’s up to the individual to make his or her own mind up. But I would advise anybody who has purchased this script not to put it on their blog, and get a full refund a.s.a.p.
So with this in mind i have taken the script off my server and pulled the sales pages on my other websites.
***Update*** I will also be contacting StumbleUpon and the company who sell this appllication to persue further explanation of why this software was allowed to come on to the market.
The Ultimate Search Engine Loophole, Great Title but does it do what it says on the tin.
Ivan over at Profit Programs Reviews has some insight because he bought the program ($67).
Ultimate Search Engine Loophole was created by Chris Rempel AKA The Lazy Marketer and Dave Kelly AKA the creator of Linkvana. Dave Kelly has been using this ranking loophole himself for about 2 years now and he has finally decided to share it with us. I have high respects for both Chris Rempel and Dave Kelly which is why I decided to try it out and see for myself what all the hype was about.
The Ultimate Search Engine Loophole claims to be a legitimate search engine loophole that will get you number one rankings in MSN for any keywords you choose. Is this ranking loophole what it claims to be? Answer is yes but it isn’t as simple as your led to believe.
He came out with some pretty revealing facts about this program in that it’s not quite what it seems. The system as I will call it’ claims to catapult you to the top of MSN search for any given niche or business. As you would expect from this latest claim or as I like to refer to as fad, the sales pitch is very impressive. The opening video shows you their test sites which are of course all in the number 1 position on MSN, the video is only 2.20 minutes in length, so doesn’t tell you a lot. If you take the time to read through the rest of his pitch with all its fancy graphic charts and compelling sales copy, you are still left wondering if this is just another squeeze page you should avoid.
The price of $67 is a drop in the ocean compared to the return of your investment if you indeed get to the top of MSN. Actually the price of this package doesn’t reveal a hidden cost which can be a pretty hefty hosting account, from what I can gather you will need multiple Class C IP Addresses in order for it to work. My lowest estimate is around 50 blogs at around $250 per month, this is part of the strategy you must implement to have any chance of succeeding. The main point to take away from this short article is that there is a lot more work involved with this program than first meets the eye. If you have the stamina then by all means go for it, but if you are in any doubt about your commitment then leave this one alone.
Checking out Revver, is it worthwhile? Very slick operation , The Sony Ericsson’s pretty cool too. It can be a good source of income if you upload your own videos. So I will monitor it and see if it pays off.
Farewell Woolies, all the vultures are gathering. After a lifetime of service there is no dignity left it’s so sad. The government just sits by while Woolworths goes under. Our high street just won’t be the same.
Oh what a day, I think the Americans call it Black Friday; For me it definately was for all the wrong reasons. As you can see from the blog i have lost quite a bit of data including all the post pictures. So please bear with me as i try to get things back to normal over the next 2 or 3 days. Hostgator had a complete falure with two of their servers going down, unfortunatly for me my database quota was well past its limit, and i paid the price.
Solving Problems, thinking straight; with my mind in meltdown mode I find myself going round in circles never really knowing which way to turn. When it comes to making a living online there are many wonderful ways to do this… finding the best way can be hampered by indifference from the very sources that you rely on. So it’s refreshing to come across someone who has been through this and found a resourceful solution.
How To Produce Results Quickly
One of the biggest frustrations in internet marketing is that you have to sell thousands of $10-$20 eBooks each year in order to make a full-time living online. The logistics can be pretty daunting.
There are a few ways to get over this hurdle.
1. Reach more people. (Get more customers.)
2. Write more eBooks. (Offer more low end products.)
3. Offer a higher-end product or service that your existing customers can pay more for. (Charge more for… something.)
Many people flinch at the third option; the thought of putting together a huge course or a big DVD package that they can sell for $100 or more sounds like a ton of work.
However, in Jimmy D. Brown’s usual way, he’s found a way to help marketers earn more with their EXISTING business. That’s the part that I love about this. It doesn’t even entail setting up a new website. You can just add this to your current business and multiply your income immediately.
What is it?
Coaching and Personal one-on-one e-coaching.
Jimmy’s been doing this for years. And, every time he offers coaching, it sells out.
Unfortunately, he found that offering email coaching can have a few problems. The main one is, of course, email deliverability. It’s obviously a problem if you offer e-coaching and then don’t receive emails from your customer.
So, Jimmy hired a software engineer and had him design a simple online interface so that he could communicate privately with his coaching clients inside this software. He’s been making improvements to that same script, and now he’s making it available for purchase.
The first thing you’ll want to do is check out the software at the site, you’ll see all of the features and even be able to read the user manual before buying.
If you’ve been thinking of adding a high-ticket item to your sales process or offering e-coaching, then it just got easy.
I found this post the other day about designing and producing your own WordPress themes, this definitely appeals to my sense of uniqueness. The template I have at the moment is okay but I would love to expand the design and layout. My biggest problem of course is my limited technical knowledge and with so many other daily tasks I’m afraid design takes a back seat. So I began to search and research this popular and lucrative subject. Below you will find the beginning of a very comprehensive list to get your teeth into. The 5 Minute Theme
The simple process of creating a basic WordPress theme, great for beginners.
Turn any Template into a theme
Flash tutorial; Just a bit on the blurry side and too fast to keep up for non designers, but with pausing and starting you can begin to get an insight of how to use any template and change it to a WordPress theme.
Mocking Up a Theme in Photoshop
This is an excellent step by step tutorial which is well laid out and easy to follow showing diagrams at each stage.
From Header to Footer this guy is awesome; he takes the uninitiated in the intro right through to the comments templates, in all 16 lessons.
Tutorials on this topic have been written before and the WordPress website also has guides for you to follow. But are those tutorials and guides really helpful to you when you don’t understand the lingo? Even I got lost while reading the WordPress guides.
Tools - Before we get started tomorrow, you’ll need:
WordPress installed on your computer. If you can’t install WordPress on your computer for whatever reason, no worries, just make a dummy WordPress install on your website.
Notepad or other text editors. I use Notepad. SmartFTP - If you’ll be testing your theme online, I’d suggest that you download and install SmartFTP or another FTP program to upload your theme files.
Bookmark XHTML Validator and CSS Validator. You’ll need those tools to validate your theme. They also come in handy when you need to spot and fix errors.
I think I will look into WordPress Plugins next, apparently there are resources out there somewhere, do you know where?
As you may or may not know, all of my reviews are blunt and as honest as I can be. If there’s something wrong or something I don’t like, you’ll be the first to hear about it and I might even suggest a better alternative.
But the truth is that Michael Rasmussen (the creator of this product) is such a smart marketer and does a great job of bringing the real meat of online marketing into the light. In this product, he delivers professional quality video that cuts straight to the chase and is so painfully easy to understand that you really cannot go wrong.
His techniques are far from theory and hype and come from someone who clearly has many years of experience in out of the box thinking when it comes to making money online.
Although I feel there were parts that were a little light on content, overall this video course is well worth your time and investment if you are sick of trying to find traffic and responsive buyers to market to. Although some techniques may be familiar to more experienced marketers, I would say this is a real eye opener to beginners and also to struggling intermediate marketers.
Bottom line is, if you can’t get traffic and sales then this will help you to break free from that annoying rut once and for all, I can assure you. The best part is, most of the techniques that Michael covers are win-win for everybody involved, from you, your partners to the end customer.
Welcome to my NEW FLEXIBILITY theme, what do you think? Maybe still a little rough around the edges but getting there. I just have to tell you that the Flexibility theme is by far the best WordPress theme that I have ever come across thus far. This Guy has got some serious talent, and to top it all the theme is available absolutely free of charge, all he asks is to keep his footer links intact, small price as far as I’m concerned.
If you want to have a unique WordPress theme, then I highly recommend that you give Flexibility a try. I was quite amazed at the whole setup, you can change practically every aspect of your theme, including colours, fonts, backgrounds, headers, logos; the list is endless. You can have a Home Featured Box which i haven’t yet implemented to show off anything you want including widgets HTML images and so on. The best part of this theme is that you don’t need to know any code, so no more messing around in the theme editor. All your theme editing gets done on one page with an easy to use interface; you can even place your Google analytics code and Adsense code all from the same page.
Check it out for yourself you’ll be glad you did!
Quick update; I have decided to remove the footer links in favour of my own. This was done by Donating to Ryan over atFlexibility. Well worth it! Please pay his site a visit and you will see just how good the setup is.
Farewell BlogRush, it’s been nice knowing you and it’s a pity it didnt work out. Hopefully somebody else will take up the reigns.
BlogRush Quote
BlogRush didn’t grow without its fair share of problems — from security issues to abusive users trying to ‘game’ the system to much lower click-rates than expected. We also had some problems with trying to fairly control the quality of the network, and in the process made many mistakes in deciding what blogs should stay or go. All of these issues, ultimately, limited the service’s full potential.
Our team worked very hard to try and build a service that would truly help bloggers of all sizes get free traffic to their blogs. This was our primary focus. Not once did we ever try to monetize the service with ads or anything else. BlogRush never made a single penny in revenue. We wanted to be able to help our users FIRST and then worry about monetizing the service later. Unfortunately, the service didn’t work out like we had hoped. (It happens.)
I received this latest video from one of my YouTube subscriptions and it’s a great explanation of how you can use Google Maps, for instance preparing for sightseeing trips and using it for educational purposes.
It would be even better if you could develop a virtual map of all your blogs and websites along with any social network hangouts. So then you could put this map on your blog kind of like a personal or business sitemap but more virtual. Just a thought!
Maybe there is already an application out there that I haven’t found yet, if you have any thoughts …
Listen up folks if you want to get your hands on some serious free goodies then follow Dennis Edell’s latest hot competition. Dennis has recently launched two new Blogs namely easycashcontests.com and dennisedell.com (effectively he wants you to write a post about these two blogs and give your review and opinions. There is no set rules about the length of the post, but I reckon between 750 and 1000 words would be a good target to go for. Just give your honest impressions about what you think is good or bad about the blogs, bear in mind these are new blogs, so it’s first impressions that count.
What do you get out of this? Well already there other bloggers who have pledged to sponsor in a variety of ways including entrecard points and ad space with PR links, I will contribute a Mega PLR and Graphics Bundle to sweeten up the Honey pot.
Found this review over at Profit Programs Reviews, and just thought i would add my rants.
One thing i find with all these different browsers is that they are not all compatible with different sites and blogs. I have 4 browsers that i use, (FireFox–Google Crome–Flock–IE 7). Out of all of them my main choice for stability is Firefox latest version, this seams to be the most stable out of all the browsers that i have.I think that IE 7 for me is the most unstable browser that i have ever used but the previous IE 6 was my prefered choice.
“Having long been frustrated by the poor stability of Internet Explorer and never having been a big fan of Firefox, I was one of the early adopters of Google’s Chrome browser. Having used the new browser for a few weeks now, I have found that it is far more stable than IE and usually loads pages more quickly than its Microsoft counterpart. Despite the many pleasing aspects that I have found in Chrome, I have only been using it about half the time. Why, you might ask? For one reason, Roboform does not work with Chrome.
Flock is a great choice if you are active in the social network scene and security wise is on par with FireFox and IE7. Google Crome is very quick but for me i dont use it as much becuase like PPR i use Roboform, and Google isnt compatable yet with this password application.
The reason for having so many browsers on my machine is so that i can get an idea of how my blogs or sites look in each one and if need be change code to make them compatable with all browsers. This is sometimes quite difficult, and i find myself constantly changing codes particuarly java which clashes a lot with the blogs template codes and slows down loading time quite frequently. Time to ditch the widgets?
No doubt IE7 and Google Crome will get better, but for me i will stick to FF.
For all those Mac users who are probably saying there browsers are better! Who knows’ mabey they are, let me know if your in the hunt.
